Yes, of course. This is not uncommon, but your report is shorter if the birth time is not known.

What this means astrologically is that your exact Ascendant can’t be calculated. The sign on the Ascendant changes every two hours throughout the day, and so yours won’t be available for interpretation. However, there is a wealth of other factors that will still be able to be calculated enabling a very comprehensive interpretation to be produced.

If you know the approximate time of day then you can use this. For example, 3.00pm if born mid afternoon, 6.00pm for early evening and so on.

The nearest city or big town is sufficiently accurate.

A few decades ago most ephemeris used for calculating birth charts only had data for a few selected places. In the UK these were London, Liverpool and a few more cities. Charts were based on the nearest of these to your place of birth, and gave good results. Thus if you have a rough idea of where you were born then this can be good enough in most cases.

Today computers are used, with databases of places, and the ability to input an exact latitude and longitude for any place. This thus allows a greater degree of accuracy.

Astrologically it can make very little difference when interpreting the slow moving planets. Your report will still give a good reflection. When calculating things such as the 'aspects' between planets the planets are treated as being in aspect if within a set number of degrees apart. Your approximate birthplace can still be many miles out and not affect the aspects.

There are three points worth mentioning here.

Firstly, have you ever read your horoscope in the newspaper or a magazine? You have? Then not believing didn’t stifle your curiosity did it? Likewise you can get a report and read it with the same enthusiastic curiosity.

Secondly, others do believe, and some of these people are your friends and relatives. They will be interested in reading your report and seeing how it matches to their experience of you. 

Thirdly, you can have a report created for others as a gift, whether or not they or you are believers -- a gift that lasts a lifetime!

These reports are useful icebreakers to leave around on your coffee table for friends and visitors to see. They may even help them to get to know you better.

The daily horoscope in newspapers and magazines, based on sun signs, apply to many people. There are twelve sun signs and millions of people. Thus about one twelfth of the world’s population will share your daily horoscope!

Your birth chart is pretty much unique and includes the positions of the moon and other planets for your place and time of birth. How many people were born in the same place as you at the same time? Forecasts are made based on your time and place of birth and cover many more factors than a popular horoscope. You can still read your horoscope but also get an AstroScope report covering a period months created specifically for you.

[Tip: Intead of looking at your Sun Sign in the newspaper horoscope, look at the one for your Rising Sign (Ascendant). Some find this a better guide. My Sun Sign is Capricorn, but I always look at Gemini, my Rising Sign.]

The traditional starting point is to have your birth chart, also called a natal chart, interpreted. We do this in our AstroScope report.

Understanding your relationship style may be more important to you at the moment. In this case your AstroRelate report would be useful, or if you want to know more about your compatibility with another person then you would choose AstroComp.

If we do your chart again it will be the same in most cases and the report will have the same text.

The only reports where the text and astrological data will be different is for the Forecast Report and Compatibility Report.

The forecast report covers a particular set of months and so if you select a different set of months for your forecast you will get a new set of astrological data with its corresponding interpretations.

With a compatibility report you can select a different person to compare to, and so the text and astrological data will be different for those parts of the report that relate to them and how they relate with you.

In the 1970’s I calculated all my charts by hand. This was a mechanical and laborious process.

With the advent of computers it is now possible to use advanced software to calculate charts much quicker and more accurately than before, as well as being able to explore the resulting data in many more ways. We thus now use state of the art professional quality computer software for our calculations.

World respected professional astrologers, who specialise in particular areas, write the text interpretations for each report. Some are well known authors and their books are available on Amazon.

Because each person’s chart is different so each report is also different, and is tailored specifically to you. You are unique and your report is unique.

We provide the chart data with each report.

Thus you can take a popular or professional astrology book and use that as a basis for creating your own additional interpretations.

The problem with using a book is that you will end up with a long string of interpretations which are not grouped or related in any meaningful way. You will be thumbing backward and forward, which can be very confusing. Likewise free computer software tends to be superficial in its approach, and gives rather terse and esoteric meanings.

Our reports bring the very comprehensive information available from your birthchart together in a digestible and organised way.

For any specific report created for you, these versions of your report will essentially contain the same text. All that is different is the medium in which it is presented.

A lot more work is required in getting your report converted so that a web browser can display it. All reports need to be converted manually -- it is not an automatic process. In fact, the web site report is extremely inexpensive! Typically, a five page web site can cost upwards of £250. Your report is a lot more complex than that and has many more pages!
